Dr Martin Kim Anaesthetist

Dr Martin Kim

Martin graduated from the University of Western Australia. He trained in anaesthesia at Monash Medical Centre. At the end of his training he completed 2 years of speciality training in Toronto, Canada, and Royal Perth Hospital. His specialty training was in the field of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia including Heart and Lung Transplant and 3-D Echocardiography. He is currently a Visiting Specialist Anaesthetist at Monash Medical Centre with a special interest in Heart and Lung surgery. He also holds an appointment as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Melbourne.

Dr Vaughan McCulloch

Dr Vaughan McCulloch

Dr McCulloch graduated from Monash University with an MBBS in 2012. His specialist training was undertaken through the Monash Anaesthetic Training Scheme and completed fellowship at Monash Medical Centre and Box Hill Hospitals. Vaughan completed a Masters of Medicine in Perioperative Medicine in 2016 through Monash University and holds a public appointment at Monash Health. Areas of special interests include regional anaesthesia and anaesthesia for orthopaedic, vascular and upper GI surgery.

Dr Sam Walsh

Dr Walsh graduated with an MBBS (Hons) from Monash University in 2012. He completed his specialist training through the Monash Anaesthetic Training Scheme and undertook fellowship at Monash Medical Centre in 2020.  Sam holds a public appointment at Monash Health, with special interests in regional anaesthesia and anaesthesia for orthopaedic and upper GI surgery.

Dr Elliot Wilson

Dr Wilson completed his medical training at Monash University, graduating with honours in 2011. He obtained his specialist Anaesthetist qualifications with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2019, after completing his training at Monash Health and fellowship at Peninsula Health. He enjoys combining his specialist position at Peninsula Health with his private practice throughout Melbourne, and has an interest in point of care ultrasound and regional anaesthesia.

Our Surgical Assistants

Dr Dan Clinton Surgical Assistant

Dr Daniel Clinton

Dr Daniel Clinton is an experienced surgical assistant specialising in orthopaedic procedures. He has a special interest in sports medicine and orthopaedic surgery having completed a physiotherapy degree prior to his Bachelor and Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree in 2013. He has worked in a variety of surgical jobs and continues to work in both Emergency Medicine Departments and General Medical posts within the community.

Dr Jonathan Stone

Dr Stone completed his medical training at Bond University, Queensland in 2015. Since graduating, he has experience in emergency medicine, sports medicine and orthopaedic surgery. He has additionally completed a Masters of Sports medicine.

He has a keen interest in surgical assisting, along with sports medicine. He is currently working as the doctor for Carlton AFLW, along with the Carlton VFL and the Victoria Country U19's program.

Dr Stone endeavours to assist Mr Pai in providing quality patient care, to ensure every patient has a safe and pleasant experience.


Dr Richard Zhang

Dr Richard Zhang

Dr Zhang obtained his MBBS through Monash University in 2013. He completed his internship and residency in large metropolitan centres in Melbourne. Since then, he has spent 5 years gaining surgical experience working in busy orthopaedic surgery units across Victoria and Tasmania, including tertiary trauma centres.

His interests remain in the musculosketal system, though now works as an orthopaedic surgical assistant and continues his studies to strive to provide holistic healthcare.
